Travel from Gdynia Cruise Port to the UNESCO-listed Malbork Castle, the largest brick castle in the world, on a private shore excursion designed for cruise passengers who prefer comfortable, direct transportation without joining a large coach group. Your English-speaking driver will meet you near the cruise terminal and take you directly to the castle, wait during your visit, and drive you back to the ship in time for departure. This is a private, round-trip service - the vehicle is used exclusively by your group. The complete excursion normally takes approximately five to six hours: about 75-90 minutes driving to Malbork, roughly two and a half to three hours to explore the castle at your own pace, and 75-90 minutes back to Gdynia, with a safety buffer built in before your ship's boarding time. Malbork Castle was built by the Teutonic Knights and is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Walking through its courtyards, halls and fortifications is one of the most memorable day trips available from the Tri-City area. Castle entrance tickets and a licensed guide are not included in the tour price and can be purchased on site or arranged separately in advance. We recommend allowing extra time during the summer season, when the castle can be busy.
